Email Marketing Ideas for Restaurants

The best next email is usually tied to a real event in your restaurant. Start with something useful to communicate, not a need to fill an arbitrary calendar slot.

Choose a goal you can support

Turn an idea into a brief

Write four lines before drafting: who the email is for, what changed, what the reader should do and the final date when the message is useful. Then collect the facts that support those lines.

For a new menu, that means confirmed dish descriptions, availability and a working menu or booking link. If these are still undecided, prepare a draft but do not schedule a send.

Plan a reminder only when it helps

A reminder should have a reason, such as an approaching event date. It should not merely repeat the announcement to everyone. Decide who should be excluded and whether your platform can actually identify them.

If you cannot identify guests who already booked, do not claim that your reminder automatically excludes them. Adjust the message or skip the reminder.
